จุดประสงค์ของบทเรียน 1. เพื่อนำเสนอความรู้ตามขั้นตอนของ Active and Passive Voices 2. เพื่อการบอกถึงประธานของประโยคถูกกระทำในรูปแบบ Tense ต่าง ๆ 3. เพื่อให้นักเรียนมีความสามารถในนำรูปแบบประโยคไปใช้อย่างถูกต้อง

ความหมายของ Active and Passive Voices Active Voice คือ คำพูดที่แสดงว่า ประธานเป็นผู้กระทำกริยาโดยตรง เช่น He punished a boy. Passive voice คือ คำพูดที่แสดงว่า ประธานเป็นผู้ถูกกริยากระทำ เช่น A boy was punished. ในภาษาอังกฤษ active voice และ passive voice มีส่วนสำคัญมากทั้งในการเขียนการพูด

1. ต้องกลับเอาประธานในประโยค active ไปเป็นกรรมของประโยคใน passive หลักที่ต้องจำไว้ใช้ในการเขียน จากประโยค active เป็น passive voice 1. ต้องกลับเอาประธานในประโยค active ไปเป็นกรรมของประโยคใน passive 2. กลับเอากรรม (object) ในประโยค active ไปเป็นประธาน (subject) ในประโยค passive

3. กริยาแท้ (finite verb) ของประโยคใน active voice เมื่อเอามาใช้ในประโยค passive voice ต้องเปลี่ยนเป็น past participle (กริยาตัวที่ 3 ) เสมอ และให้ past participle อยู่หลัง verb to be (is, am, are, was, were, been)

4. Verb to be ที่จะใช้ ต้องใช้ให้ถูก tense ของประโยคใน active voice เดิม คือ ถ้าประโยคใน active voice เป็น present simple tense เมื่อเป็น passive voice ก็ใช้ (is, am, are) แล้วแต่ว่าประธานในประโยค passive voice เดิม จะเป็นอะไร เช่น

รูปของPassive Voice โดยทั่วไป กริยารูป passive voice คือ Verb to be + กริยาช่อง3

ประธาน+ is,are (+not)+กริยาช่อง3 1.สำหรับ simple present tense ประโยคpassive voiceจะมีโครงสร้างดังนี้ ประธาน+ is,are (+not)+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง Homework is done. Tickets are not sold here. Letters are sent to England.

ประธาน+ was,were (+not)+กริยาช่อง3 2.สำหรับ past tense ประโยคpassive voice จะมีโครงสร้างดังนี้ ประธาน+ was,were (+not)+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง The window was not broken. Mistakes were made. The house was built.

ประธาน+ is,are (+not)+being+กริยาช่อง3 3.สำหรับ present continuous tense ประโยคpassive voice จะมีโครงสร้างดังนี้ ประธาน+ is,are (+not)+being+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง The bridge is not being repaired. The dishes are being washed. The room is being painted now.

ประธาน+ will (+not)+be+กริยาช่อง3 4.สำหรับ future tense ประโยคpassive voice จะมีโครงสร้างดังนี้ ประธาน+ will (+not)+be+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง This package will be sent to Japan. Questions will be asked. The radio will not be repaired.

ประธาน+has, have (+not)+been+กริยาช่อง3 5.สำหรับ present perfect tense ประโยคpassive voice จะมีโครงสร้างดังนี้ ประธาน+has, have (+not)+been+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง I have not been told the new. Some coffee has been brought. The lamps have been bought.

ประธาน+ modal (+not)+be+กริยาช่อง3 6.รูปประโยคpassive voice เมื่อใช้กับmodal ต่าง ๆ มีลักษณะดังนี้ ประธาน+ modal (+not)+be+กริยาช่อง3 ตัวอย่าง This car cannot be sold. This cake can be eaten. Food may be cooked in this kitchen.
