Past Simple Tense ใช้กับเหตุการณ์หรือการกระทำ นิสัย ที่เกิดขึ้นในอดีตและสิ้นสุดไปแล้วในอดีต มักมีคำต่อไปนี้เพื่อบ่งบอกว่าเป็นอดีต Yesterday, last night, last week, last month, last year, last …… 10 minutes ago, two days ago, 3 months ago, 5 years ago,… ago when I was young, when the world war II, in 1999, in 2000 etc.
โครงสร้างแบบที่ 1 S + was / were Ex. I was at home last week. She was my student last year. They were M.2 students a year ago. Sara and Suzy were swimmers when they were young.
ประโยคปฏิเสธ มีโครงสร้าง คือ S + was/were + not Ex. I wasn’t here yesterday. He wasn’t a football player last year. We weren’t at school last week. Jinny wasn’t in the hospital 2 days ago.
ประโยคคำถาม. มีโครงสร้าง คือ. Was/Were + S … ประโยคคำถาม มีโครงสร้าง คือ Was/Were + S ….? Wh-question + was/were + S…..? Ex. Was she at her house an hour ago? Yes, she was. She was at her house an hour ago. No, she wasn’t. She wasn’t at her house an hour ago.
Were you late this morning? Yes, I was. I was late this morning. No, I wasn’t. I wasn’t late this morning.
Where was Louise yesterday? Louise/He was in the gym yesterday.
When were you born? I was born on 29th November.
Who was in your classroom last period? Teacher Oy was in my classroom last period.
