Reflexive Pronouns คือ สรรพนามที่ลงท้ายด้วย self ในกรณีที่เป็นเอกพจน์ (Singular) และ selves ในกรณีที่เป็นพหูพจน์ (Plural) He hurts himself. The dog bit itself on the leg.
1. ประธาน (subject)และกรรม (object) เป็นคนๆ เดียวกัน เช่น Reflexive Pronouns จะใช้ในกรณีต่อไปนี้ 1. ประธาน (subject)และกรรม (object) เป็นคนๆ เดียวกัน เช่น I hate myself. Look after yourself.
I myself saw the Prime Minister yesterday. 2. ใช้เพื่อเน้น I myself saw the Prime Minister yesterday. They themselves help me. 3. ใช้กับ preposition “by” ในความหมายว่า alone (ตามลำพัง) She finished the work by herself.
We build the house by ourselves. She draws a picture by herself.
