1. First conditional or real condition ประโยคเงื่อนไขแบบที่ 1 ใช้เมื่อต้องการ แสดงเงื่อนไขที่ตั้งไว้ว่ามีความเป็นไปได้ที่จะ เกิดขึ้นในอนาคต If + present simple + will/may/can + v1 If you drop that box, it will break. ถ้าคุณปล่อยนั้นลง มันจะแตก
2. Second conditional or imaginary ประโยคเงื่อนไขแบบที่ 2 ใช้ เพื่อแสดงเงื่อนไขหรือสมมติฐานที่ตั้ง ไว้มีความเป็นไปได้น้อยมากใน อนาคต หรือเงื่อนไขหรือสมมติฐาน ที่ตั้งไว้นั้นเป็นจิตนาการหรือเรื่อง สมมติ If + past simple + would/might/could + v1 If I had a lot of money, I would go abroad. ถ้าฉันมีเงินจำนวนมาก ฉันจะไปเมือง นอก
หรือ If she were a teacher, she would be very happy. ถ้าหล่อนเป็นครู หล่อนคงจะมีความสุข มาก โปรดสังเกตว่า กริยาที่ใช้ใน อนุ ประโยคที่แสดงเงื่อนไขประเภทนี้ ถ้า เป็น verb to be เราจะใช้ were กับทุก ประธาน
6. If her boyfriend (phone/not) …….. today, she (leave) ……… him. 7. If they (study/not) …….. harder, they (pass/not) …….. the exam. 8. If it (rain) …….. tomorrow, I will (have to/not) …….. water the plants. 9. You (be able/not) ……… to sleep if you (watch) ……… this scary film. 10. Susan (can/move/not) ……… into the new house if it (be/not) ready on time.
6. If her boyfriend does not phone today, she will leave him. 7. If they do not study harder, they will not pass the exam. 8. If it rains tomorrow, I will not have to water the plants. 9. You will not be able to sleep if you watch this scary film. 10. Susan cannot move into the new house if it is not ready on time.
Complete the Conditional Sentences (Type II) by putting the verbs into the correct form. Use conditional I with would in the main clause. 1. If we had a yacht, we would sail the seven seas. 2. If he had more time, he would learn karate. 3. If they told their father, he would be very angry. 4. She would spend a year in the USA if it were easier to get a green card. 5.
