Luke 18:1-17 ลูกา 18:1-17 I. A Needy Woman Who Would Not Go Away ในนครนั้นมีหญิงม่ายคนหนึ่งมาหาผู้พิพากษาผู้นั้นพูดว่า 18:1-8

1And he told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart. 1พระองค์ตรัสคำอุปมาเรื่องหนึ่งให้เขาฟัง เพื่อสอนว่าคนทั้งหลายควรอธิษฐานอยู่เสมอ ไม่อ่อนระอาใจ

2He said, “In a certain city there was a judge who neither feared God nor respected man. 2พระองค์ตรัสว่า “ในนครหนึ่งมีผู้พิพากษาคนหนึ่ง ที่มิได้เกรงกลัวพระเจ้าและมิได้เห็นแก่มนุษย์

3And there was a widow in that city who kept coming to him and saying, ‘Give me justice against my adversary.’ 3ในนครนั้นมีหญิงม่ายคนหนึ่งมาหาผู้พิพากษาผู้นั้นพูดว่า 'ขอให้ความยุติธรรมแก่ข้าพเจ้าในการสู้ความเถิด'

4For a while he refused, but afterward he said to himself, ‘Though I neither fear God nor respect man, 4ฝ่ายผู้พิพากษานั้นไม่ยอมทำจนช้านาน แต่ภายหลังเขานึกในใจว่า 'แม้ว่าเราไม่ยำเกรงพระเจ้า และไม่เห็นแก่มนุษย์

5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will give her justice, so that she will not beat me down by her continual coming.’”

5แต่เพราะแม่ม่ายคนนี้มากวนเราให้ลำบาก เราจะให้ความยุติธรรมแก่นาง เพื่อมิให้นางมารบกวนบ่อยๆให้เรารำคาญใจ' ”

6And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge says

7And will not God give justice to his elect, who cry to him day and night? , Will he delay long over them? 7พระเจ้าจะไม่ทรงประทานความยุติธรรมแก่คนที่พระองค์ได้ทรงเลือกไว้ ผู้ร้องถึงพระองค์ทั้งกลางวันกลางคืนหรือ พระองค์จะอดพระทัยไว้ช้านานหรือ  

8I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily 8I tell you, he will give justice to them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?” 8เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่า พระองค์จะทรงประทานความยุติธรรมให้เขาโดยเร็ว แต่เมื่อบุตรมนุษย์มา ท่านจะพบความเชื่อในแผ่นดินโลกหรือ”

Luke 11:5-13 5 And he said to them, “Which of you who has a friend will go to him at midnight and say to him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves,

ลูกา 11:5-13 5พระองค์ตรัสแก่เขาว่า “ผู้ใดในพวกท่านมีมิตรสหายคนหนึ่ง และจะไปหามิตรสหายนั้นในเวลาเที่ยงคืนพูดกับเขาว่า 'เพื่อนเอ๋ย ขอให้ฉันยืมขนมปังสักสามก้อนเถิด

6for a friend of mine has arrived on a journey, and I have nothing to set before him’; 6เพราะเพื่อนของฉันคนหนึ่งเพิ่งเดินทางมาหาฉัน และฉันไม่มีอะไรจะให้เขารับประทาน'

7and he will answer from within, ‘Do not bother me; the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I cannot get up and give you anything’?

7ฝ่ายมิตรสหายที่อยู่ข้างในจะตอบว่า 'อย่ารบกวนฉันเลย ประตูก็ปิดเสียแล้ว ทั้งพวกลูกก็นอนร่วมเตียงเดียวกับฉันแล้ว ฉันจะลุกขึ้นหยิบให้ท่านไม่ได้'

8I tell you, though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his impudence he will rise and give him whatever he needs.

8เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่า แม้เขาจะไม่ลุกขึ้นหยิบให้คนนั้นเพราะเป็นมิตรสหายกัน แต่ว่าเพราะวิงวอนมากเข้า เขาจึงจะลุกขึ้นหยิบให้ตามที่เขาต้องการ

9And I tell you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 9เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่า จงขอแล้วจะได้ จงหาแล้วจะพบ จงเคาะแล้วจะเปิดให้แก่ท่าน

10For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened. 10เพราะว่าทุกคนที่ขอก็ได้ ทุกคนที่แสวงหาก็พบ และทุกคนที่เคาะก็จะเปิดให้เขา

11What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will instead of a fish give him a serpent; 11มีผู้ใดในพวกท่านที่เป็นบิดา ถ้าบุตรขอปลาจะเอางูให้เขาแทนหรือ

12or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion

13If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!”

13เพราะฉะนั้นถ้าท่านทั้งหลายเองผู้เป็นคนบาปยังรู้จักให้ของดีแก่บุตรของตน ยิ่งกว่านั้นสักเท่าใด พระบิดาผู้ทรงสถิตในสวรรค์ จะทรงประทานพระวิญญาณบริสุทธิ์แก่ผู้ที่ขอต่อพระองค์”

II. A Sinful Man Who Went Away Justified 18:9-14 9He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and treated others with contempt:

II. ฝ่ายคนเก็บภาษีนั้นยืนอยู่แต่ไกล 18:9-14 9สำหรับบางคนที่ไว้ใจในตัวเองว่าเป็นคนชอบธรรม และได้ดูหมิ่นคนอื่นนั้น พระองค์ตรัสคำอุปมานี้ว่า

10“Two men went up into the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. 10“มีสองคนขึ้นไปอธิษฐานในบริเวณพระวิหาร คนหนึ่งเป็นพวกฟาริสีและคนหนึ่งเป็นพวกเก็บภาษี

11The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

11คนฟาริสีนั้นยืนนึกในใจของตน อธิษฐานว่า 'ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ข้าพระองค์โมทนาขอบพระคุณของพระองค์ ที่ข้าพระองค์ไม่เหมือนคนอื่น ซึ่งเป็นคนโลภ คนอธรรม และคนล่วงประเวณี และไม่เหมือนคนเก็บภาษีคนนี้

12I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get

13But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

13ฝ่ายคนเก็บภาษีนั้นยืนอยู่แต่ไกล ไม่แหงนดูฟ้า แต่ตีอกของตนว่า 'ข้าแต่พระเจ้า ขอทรงโปรดพระเมตตาแก่ข้าพระองค์ผู้เป็นคนบาปเถิด'

14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified, rather than the other. For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted.”

14เราบอกท่านทั้งหลายว่า คนนี้แหละเมื่อกลับลงไปยังบ้านของตนก็นับว่าชอบธรรม มิใช่อีกคนหนึ่งนั้น เพราะว่าทุกคนที่ยกตัวขึ้นจะต้องถูกเหยียดลง แต่ทุกคนที่ได้ถ่อมตัวลงจะต้องถูกยกขึ้น”

III. Permit the little children to come to Christ 18:15-17 15Now they were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them. And when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them.

15 แล้วเขาอุ้มทารกมาหาพระองค์เพื่อจะให้พระองค์ทรงถูกต้องทารกนั้น แต่เหล่าสาวกเมื่อเห็นเข้าก็ห้ามเขา III. จงยอมให้เด็กเล็กๆ เข้ามาหาเรา อย่าห้ามเขาเลย

16But Jesus called them to him, saying, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

16แต่พระเยซูทรงเรียกทารกมา แล้วตรัสว่า “จงยอมให้เด็กเล็กๆเข้ามาหาเรา อย่าห้ามเขาเลย เพราะว่าแผ่นดินของพระเจ้าย่อมเป็นของคนเช่นเด็กเหล่านั้น

17Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” 17เราบอกความจริงแก่ท่านทั้งหลายว่า ผู้หนึ่งผู้ใดมิได้รับแผ่นดินของพระเจ้าเหมือนเด็กเล็กๆ ผู้นั้นจะเข้าในแผ่นดินนั้นไม่ได้”

Matthew 19:13 Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, มัทธิว 9:13 13ขณะนั้นเขาพาเด็กเล็กๆมาหาพระองค์ เพื่อจะให้พระองค์ทรงวางพระหัตถ์และอธิษฐาน แต่เหล่าสาวกก็ห้ามปรามไว้

Luke 9:46-48 46An argument arose among them as to which of them was the greatest. 46แล้วเหล่าสาวกก็เกิดเถียงกันว่าในพวกเขาใครเป็นใหญ่

47But Jesus, knowing the reasoning of their hearts, took a child and put him by his side 47ฝ่ายพระเยซูทรงหยั่งรู้ความคิดในใจของเขาจึงให้เด็กคนหนึ่งยืนอยู่ใกล้พระองค์

48and said to them, “Whoever receives this child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me. For he who is least among you all is the one who is great.”

48แล้วตรัสกับเขาว่า “ถ้าผู้ใดจะรับเด็กเล็กๆคนนี้ในนามของเรา ผู้นั้นก็ได้รับเรา และผู้ใดได้รับเรา ผู้นั้นก็ได้รับพระองค์ผู้ทรงใช้เรามา เพราะว่าในพวกท่านทั้งหลาย ผู้ใดเป็นผู้น้อยผู้นั้นแหละเป็นผู้ใหญ่”
