รายงานของเลขาธิการ ISO 162 members over 18,000 standards during 2005-2009, over 40 TCs established ISO global relevance policy promoted &application increased. over 700 organizations in liaison with ISO

รายงานของเลขาธิการ ISO Communication services have been significantly enhanced. Funding and assistance to developing countries and emerging economies increased. Conformity assessment tools increased or expanded. Processes and procedures for standards development improved.

ISO & ITU ความร่วมมือในเรื่องสิทธิบัตร World Standards Cooperation (WSC) E-health, intelligent transport systems, IT security, radio frequency identification ความร่วมมือในเรื่องสิทธิบัตร

งานของ Technical Management Board ความรับผิดชอบต่อสังคม (เวียน DIS 26000 ก.ย. 52 และ จัดตั้ง Process Evaluation Group (PEG) เพื่อ ประเมินวิธีกำหนดมาตรฐานโดยการมีส่วนร่วมของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย) พลังงาน (จัดตั้ง TC 242 Energy management) ข้อเสนอในการกำหนดมาตรฐานเรื่องใหม่ ได้แก่ Sustainability in events management, Consumer credit scoring, Traditional Chinese medicine, Stakeholder engagement in consultative process

กิจกรรมที่เกี่ยวข้องกับประเทศกำลังพัฒนา การสร้างเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจในความสำคัญของการมาตรฐาน (การสัมมนา ISO 22000, ISO 14001, ISO 14040, ISO 14064, ISO 27001, Conformity assessment, train-the-trainer on Consumer participation in standardization) การพัฒนาศักยภาพเพื่อส่งเสริมให้นำมาตรฐานระหว่างประเทศไปใช้ (การฝึกทักษะและพัฒนาความรู้สำหรับผู้เชี่ยวชาญ/ผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย)
