INTRODUCTION •What is Going Green? •Going Green is a Club initiative to encourage Members and staff alike to be considerate about how we use our resources. This includes the choices we make in our day-to-day lives, such as when we turn on a tap, use a bag, turn on an electrical appliance, travel from place to place, purchase products….the list goes on. The Club has made a concerted effort over the past couple of years to limit the use of our resources, and although there are still many things we can implement to be ‘greener’ we see the Going Green initiative as a step in the right direction. Our display here will give you details on how you can help. We all may need to make lifestyle changes to protect our environment, but this is purely a matter of choice – it is up to each one of us to decide how and if we can help. Please join us. •What does our Going Green symbol stand for? •Whenever you see our Going Green symbol, it is to remind you that everyone can contribute, not matter how small your contribution may seem. If everyone joins together, we can make a difference.
