จุดประสงค์ของบทเรียน 1. นักเรียนสามารถจำแนก ประเภทของเงื่อนไขได้ 2. นักเรียนสามารถจำแนกประเภทของ Tenses ที่ใช้ในประโยคเงื่อนไขได้ 3. นักเรียนสามารถวางเงื่อนไขในสถานการณ์ต่าง ๆ และเวลาได้อย่างเหมาะสม

ประโยค conditional sentences ประกอบด้วยประโยค 2 ส่วน คือ If - Clause คือ ประโยคที่มีการกำหนดเงื่อนไขขึ้นในเวลาที่ต่างๆกัน แต่เวลาที่พูดเกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน ถ้ามีเหตุการณ์หนึ่งเกิดขึ้นก็จะมีอีกเหตุการณ์หนึ่งเกิดขึ้นตามมา โดยรูปกริยาที่ต่างกันในประโยค จะเป็นตัวบอกให้ทราบว่าเป็นเงื่อนไขแบบใด ประโยค conditional sentences ประกอบด้วยประโยค 2 ส่วน คือ 1.ส่วนที่เป็นเงื่อนไข (If clause) 2.ส่วนข้อความหลัก (main clause)

ประโยค conditional sentences แบ่งได้เป็น 3 ประเภท 1. Future Possible - เหตุการณ์เป็นไปได้ในอนาคต 2. Present Unreal - เหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในปัจจุบัน เป็นการคาดคะเน โดยที่ไม่เป็นความจริง 3. Past Unreal - เหตุการณ์ได้เกิดขึ้นมาแล้วในอดีต และตรงข้ามกับความจริง

Future Possible - เหตุการณ์เป็นไปได้ในอนาคต เป็นประโยคเงื่อนไขในปัจจุบันหรือเงื่อนไขในอนาคต โดยผู้พูดมั่นใจว่า ถ้าเกิดเหตุการณ์เช่นนั้นแล้วก็จะมีผลอะไรเกิดขึ้น มักเป็นเรื่องที่เกิดขึ้นทั่วๆไป มีรูปแบบดังนี้ Form : If + Present Simple + Future Simple (modal verbs) (S + V1) (S + will /can + infinitive) Example : If he comes, I will go. (ถ้าเขามา ฉันจะไป) If I am late, please forgive me. (ถ้าฉันมาสายโปรดยกโทษฉัน) If it rains, I shall stay at home . (ถ้าฝนตกฉันจะอยู่บ้าน) I will go for a walk if the rain stops. (ฉันจะเดินไป ถ้าฝนหยุดตก)

Present Unreal - เป็นการคาดคะเน โดยที่ไม่เป็นความจริง เป็นเงื่อนไขในปัจจุบันหรืออนาคตที่เป็นไปไม่ได้ หรือตรงข้ามกับความจริง ซึ่งเหตุการณ์นั้นอาจเป็นการสมมติ คาดคะเน มีรูปแบบดังนี้ Form : If + Past Simple + Past Future (S + V2) (S + would + infinitive) Example : If he saw you, he would speak to you. ถ้าเขาพบคุณเขาจะพูดกับคุณ (ผู้พูดยังไม่แน่ใจว่า ถ้าเขาพบคุณเขาจะพูดกับคุณหรือไม่) If I had much money, I would buy a new mobile phone. ถ้าฉันมีเงินมากพอ ฉันจะซื้อโทรศัพท์มือถือใหม่ (จริงๆแล้ว มีเงินไม่พอ) < กลับ หน้าหลัก ถัดไป >

Past Unreal - เหตุการณ์ได้เกิดแล้วในอดีต และตรงข้ามกับความจริง เป็นเงื่อนไขที่เกิดขึ้นในสิ่งที่เป็นไปไม่ได้หรือตรงข้ามกับความเป็นจริง และเหตุการณ์นั้นจบลงแล้วในอดีต Form : If + Past Perfect + Past Future Perfect (S + had + V3) (S + would have + V3) Example : If she had studied hard, you would have passed the exam. ถ้าเธอตั้งใจเรียนมากกว่านี้ เธอคงจะสอบผ่าน (จริงๆแล้วเธอสอบตก) If he had taken more exercise, he wouldn’t have got fat. ถ้าเขาออกกำลังกายมากกว่านี้ เขาคงจะไม่อ้วน (จริงๆแล้ว เขาอ้วน) < กลับ หน้าหลัก แบบฝึกหัด >
