How to set up Lanna? King Mangrai took many years to set up Lanna as the biggest kingdom of the north. He merged many land around and took some time to set them strong and then included all territories together. วิธีรวมคือค่อยๆตั้งเมืองใหม่ทีละเมือง และพระยามังรายขึ้น ไปปกครองเมืองเหล่านั้นเองประมาณที่ละ 1 – 2 ปี เมื่อ เข้มแข็งแล้วก็ตั้งเมืองใหม่ ประกอบกับตีอาณาจักรรอบๆ ด้วย ในที่สุดเมื่อพร้อมก็ผนวกรวมทั้งหมดเป็นล้านนา

The Decline of Kingdom - การล่มสลายของอาณาจักร Start after the death of Phraya Kaeo(พระยาแก้ว) 2069 Assassinated - ลอบสังหาร Abdicate - สละราชสมบัติ Instability - ความไม่มั่นคง Vassal – เมืองประเทศราช Extinct – จบสิ้น 2101 Lanna had to surrender to Burma and became to a vassal. 2121 Burmese sent their prince ruled Lanna.

The end of Lanna By the invasion of Burma, Tong Oo Dynasty. In 2101 Lanna had to Surrender and became to vassal of Burma. ***In 2121 end of Mungrai dynasty when Burmese sent their own prince to governed Lanna.

About Lanna and Thai Kings of Ayudhaya tried to capture Lanna several times but only short time then the Burmese fought back between 2270-2306. In Thonburi period, King Taksin helped Prince Kawila expel the Burmese and became to the first king of Lanna under Siam’s rule. In king Rama V, 2435 Lanna was formally annexed by Siam and included in Monthon Phayap. The last king of Lanna was Chao Kaew Naowarat***but no power ***Lanna was united with Siam in 2442.
