Why ? E-Learning
E-Learning is about creating both formal and informal learning solutions providing access to a variety of learning resources: both content and people bringing small and large groups of people together bringing learning to people not people to learning
Informal learning
E-Learning is about just in time - available for the users when they need it to complete the task; on-demand - available when they need it, not in a couple of days time, or a week or a month; bite-sized - available in small chunks that take only a short time to complete, i.e minutes.

รูปแบบของ e- learning using the technology to support or supplement a traditional course integrating technology into a traditional course delivering a course completely online
รูปแบบของ e- learning The first way of using technology in a course in Further and Higher Education To deliver the course in the normal, traditional (f2f) way with lectures, seminars, tutorials, etc, and use the technology to support the course in the form of online documentation. •administrative materials like a scheme of work, syllabus, course handbook, etc •class/lecture materials like handouts, presentations and reading lists.
รูปแบบของ e- learning The second way of using the technology is to integrate online activities within a traditional (face-to-face) course. The resultant course is often known as a hybrid or blended course •informational and reference materials •online activities and exercises •online tests •online discussions •collaborative learning activities
รูปแบบของ e- learning In this third way, the technology is used to deliver the course completely online, e.g. to offer the programme to a wider audience than just the campus-based learners

Why ? E-Learning Fail WWon’t – inappropriate organization DDon’t – inappropriate learners CCan’t – inappropriate working environments
Building successful E-Learning addresses the learning problem fits in with the learners’ ways of working and learning is presented in the most suitable format for the learners is valued, encouraged and supported by line managers works technically meets your budget
To prepare for your course how you are going to use the technology to support/supplement a traditional course, or to create a blended or completely online course how you are going to support the students' skills, experience and expectations what existing systems and tools you will use and what you will need to acquire
To prepare for your course what minimum specification for hardware and software the students will need what the staff skills or time implications are for you and your team the timeline for the project in terms of achievable milestones how you will evaluate the project both in- course and post-course
