Superficial fascia of the neck - antero-lateral region ยึด skin & deep fascia หลวมๆ เคลื่อนไหวได้มาก พบ Platysma muscle & External jugular vein - posterior region ยึด skin & deep fascia แข็งแรง เคลื่อนไหวได้น้อย

Platysma muscle อยู่ในชั้น superficial fascia อยู่ตื้นกว่า external jugular vein & cutaneous nerve of the neck Skin & superficial fascia ของส่วนบนของคอ และส่วนหน้าของไหล่ Origin: Insertion: Lower margin of body of mandible

Platysma muscle fibers แบ่งเป็น 3 กลุ่ม anterior - middle - posterior
