2And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 2แม้ข้าพเจ้าจะเผยพระวจนะได้ และเข้าใจในความล้ำลึกทั้งปวงและมีความรู้ทั้งสิ้น และมีความเชื่อมากยิ่งที่สุดพอจะยกภูเขาไปได้ แต่ไม่มีความรัก ข้าพเจ้าก็ไม่มีค่าอะไรเลย

4Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 4ความรักนั้นก็อดทนนานและกระทำคุณให้ ความรักไม่อิจฉา ไม่อวดตัว ไม่หยิ่งผยอง

5or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; 5ไม่หยาบคาย ไม่คิดเห็นแก่ตนเองฝ่ายเดียว ไม่ฉุนเฉียว ไม่ช่างจดจำความผิด

6it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth
