9 When Jesus heard these things, He marveled at him, and turning to the crowd that followed him, said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”

12As He drew near to the gate of the town, behold, a man who had died was being carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow, and a considerable crowd from the town was with her.

16 Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, “A great prophet has arisen among us!” and “God has visited His people!”

21 In that hour He healed many people of diseases and plagues and evil spirits, and on many who were blind He bestowed sight.

22 And He answered them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, the poor have good news preached to them.

25 ถ้าอย่างนั้นท่านทั้งหลายได้ไปดูอะไร ดูคนนุ่งห่มผ้าเนื้ออ่อนนิ่มหรือ ดูเถิด คนนุ่งห่มผ้างดงามและอยู่อย่างฟุ่มเฟือยย่อมอยู่ในราชสำนัก

26 What then did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and more than a prophet. 26 แต่ท่านทั้งหลายออกไปดูอะไร ดูผู้เผยพระวจนะหรือ แน่ทีเดียว และข้าพเจ้าบอกท่านว่า ท่านนั้นเป็นผู้ประเสริฐยิ่งกว่าผู้เผยพระวจนะเสียอีก

27 This is he of whom it is written,“‘Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you.’ 27 คือยอห์นนี้แหละที่พระคัมภีร์กล่าวถึงว่า ข้าพเจ้าใช้ทูตของข้าพเจ้าไปข้างหน้าท่าน ผู้นั้นจะเตรียมมรรคาของท่านไว้ข้างหน้าท่าน

28 I tell you, among those born of women none is greater than John

29 (When all the people heard this, and the tax collectors too, they declared God just, having been baptized with the baptism of John, 29 (ฝ่ายคนทั้งปวงเมื่อได้ยินรวมทั้งพวกเก็บภาษีด้วยก็ได้รับว่าพระเจ้ายุติธรรม โดยที่เขาได้รับบัพติศมาของยอห์นแล้ว

32 They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling to one another, “‘We played the flute for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not weep.’

32 เปรียบเหมือนเด็กนั่งที่กลางตลาด ร้องแก่เพื่อนว่า พวกฉันได้เป่าปี่ให้พวกเธอ และเธอมิได้เต้นรำ พวกฉันได้พิลาปร่ำไห้ และพวกเธอมิได้ตีอกชกหัว'

33 For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 33 ด้วยว่ายอห์นผู้ให้รับบัพติศมาก็ไม่ได้รับประทานขนมปังหรือดื่มเหล้าองุ่น และท่านทั้งหลายว่า 'มีผีเข้าสิงอยู่'

34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 34 ฝ่ายบุตรมนุษย์มาทั้งกินและดื่ม และท่านทั้งหลายว่า 'ดูเถิด นี่เป็นคนกินเติบและขี้เมา เป็นมิตรสหายกับคนเก็บภาษีและคนนอกรีต'

38 and standing behind Him at His feet, weeping, she began to wet His feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head and kissed his feet and anointed them with the ointment.

40 And Jesus answering said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.” And he answered, “Say it, Teacher.” 40 ฝ่ายพระเยซูตรัสตอบเขาว่า “ซีโมนเอ๋ย ข้าพเจ้ามีอะไรจะพูดกับท่านบ้าง” เขาทูลว่า “ท่านอาจารย์เจ้าข้า เชิญพูดไปเถิด”

44 Then turning toward the woman he said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.

47 Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven—for she loved much. But he who is forgiven little, loves little.” 47 เหตุฉะนั้นข้าพเจ้าบอกท่านว่า ความผิดบาปของนางซึ่งมีมากได้โปรดยกเสียแล้ว เพราะนางรักมาก แต่ผู้ที่ได้รับการยกโทษน้อย ผู้นั้นก็รักน้อย”

49 Then those who were at table with Him began to say among themselves, “Who is this, who even forgives sins?” 49 ฝ่ายคนทั้งหลายที่เอนกายอยู่ด้วยพูดกันว่า “คนนี้เป็นใคร แม้ความผิดบาปก็ยกให้ได้”

50 And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace

Romans โรม 10:9 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

9 คือว่าถ้าท่านจะรับด้วยปากของท่านว่า พระเยซูทรงเป็นองค์พระผู้เป็นเจ้า และเชื่อในจิตใจว่า พระเจ้าได้ทรงชุบพระองค์ให้เป็นขึ้นมาจากความตาย ท่านจะรอด
