เรื่อง "Linear model analysis with generalized estimating equations for cave emergence and return times by nectar feeding bats (Eonycteris spelaea:Pteropodidae) in Southern Thailand" ซึ่งเป็นการประยุกต์ใช้ glm GEE กับข้อมูลที่วางแผนแบบ Repeated Measurement Experiments ซึ่งในกรณีนี้เป็นการเก็บข้อมูลข้อมูลเวลาในการออกและกลับมาถ้ำของค้างคาวชนิดหนึ่ง ในภาคใต้ของประเทศไทย โดยมีคำถามวิจัยที่สำคัญ เช่น เพศและวัย ตลอดจน ฤดูกาลมีผลต่อพฤติกรรมการออก และกลับเข้าถ้ำของค้างคาวชนิดนี้อย่างไร? นำเสนอโดย Mr. Pushpa Raj Acharya นักศึกษา ป.เอก สาขาชีววิทยา ม.สงขลานครินทร์ โดยมี ผศ. ดร. สาระ บำรุงศรี (Asst. Prof. Dr. Sara Bumrungsri) เป็นที่ปรึกษหลัก และในการสัมนาครั้งนี้ มี Prof. Don McNeil เป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญทางสถิติเพื่อการประยุกต์ใช้กับข้อมูลที่เหมาะเป็นผู้วิพากษ์ และให้ความรู้เพิ่มเติม จัดขึ้นวันศุกร์ 21 กุมภาพันธ์ 2557 เวลา น.ห้องประชุมภาควิชาฯ: M307 ดำเนินการโดย คลีนิกสถิติ ภาควิชาคณิตศาสตร์และสถิติ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์
