Percentage of Elderly Population in Thailand
A change in Thai demographic profile shows that the proportion of elderly Thai population has been aging society since 2003 And increase to 15% in this year and is expected to rise to 30% in 2032. In other words, Thailand will truly become an Super-aged society in the next 18 years. When considering the distribution of the elderly population by gender, it is found that the female elderly accounts for 55 percent in this year.
