24 7Our fathers, when they were in Egypt, did not consider your wondrous works; they did not remember the abundance of your steadfast love, but rebelled by the Sea, at the Red Sea.

31 Exodus อพยพ 14: When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the LORD.

33 11They said to Moses, “Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt?

34 11เขาบอกโมเสสว่า “หลุมฝังศพในอียิปต์ไม่มีหรือ ท่านจึงพาเราออกมาให้ตายในถิ่นทุรกันดาร ทำไมหนอท่านจึงพาเราออกมาจากอียิปต์

35 12Is not this what we said to you in Egypt, ‘Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

36 12พวกเราบอกท่านในอียิปต์แล้วมิใช่หรือว่า ปล่อยพวกเราแต่ลำพัง ให้พวกเรารับใช้ชาวอียิปต์เถิด เพราะการรับใช้ชาวอียิปต์นั้น ก็ยังดีกว่าที่จะมาตายในถิ่นทุรกันดาร”

37 13And Moses said to the people, “Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

38 13โมเสสจึงเตือนประชากรว่า “อย่ากลัวเลย มั่นคงไว้ คอยดูความรอดที่จะมาจากพระเจ้า ซึ่งพระองค์จะประทานให้แก่ท่านทั้งหลายในวันนี้ด้วยคนอียิปต์ ซึ่งท่านทั้งหลายเห็นในวันนี้ แต่นี้ไปจะไม่ได้เห็นอีกเลย

39 14The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent

40 15The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me
15The LORD said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward. 15พระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “เหตุไฉนเจ้าจึงมาร้องทุกข์ต่อเรา จงสั่งชนชาติอิสราเอลให้เดินต่อไปข้างหน้าเถิด

41 16Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

42 16ฝ่ายเจ้าจงยกไม้เท้าของเจ้า แล้วยื่นมือของเจ้าออกไปเหนือทะเล ทำให้ทะเลนั้นแยกออก เพื่อคนอิสราเอลจะได้เดินบนดินแห้งกลางทะเลแล้ว ข้ามไปได้

43 17And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen.

44 17ส่วนเราก็จะบันดาลให้ใจชาวอียิปต์แข็งกระด้างไล่ตามมา แล้วเราจะได้รับเกียรติเพราะฟาโรห์ พลโยธา รถรบ และพลม้าทั้งหมดของเขา

45 18And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.” 18เมื่อเราได้รับเกียรติเพราะฟาโรห์ รถรบ และพลม้าของเขาแล้ว ชาวอียิปต์ก็จะรู้ว่าเรานี่แหละคือพระเจ้า”

46 19Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them, 19ฝ่ายทูตของพระเจ้าซึ่งนำพลโยธานั้นกลับไปอยู่ข้างหลัง และเสาเมฆซึ่งอยู่ข้างหน้า ก็กลับมาตั้งอยู่ข้างหลังเขา

47 20coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel
20coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without one coming near the other all night.

49 21Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

51 22And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 22ชนชาติอิสราเอลก็พากันเดินบนดินแห้งกลาง ทะเล ส่วนน้ำนั้นตั้งเป็นเหมือนกำแพงสำหรับเขา ทั้งทางขวาและทางซ้าย

52 23The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. 23คนอียิปต์ก็ไล่ตามเขาเข้าไปกลางทะเล ทั้งกองม้าและราชรถ และพลม้าทั้งปวงของฟาโรห์

55 25พระองค์ทรงกระทำให้ล้อรถฝืดจนแล่นไปแทบไม่ไหว คนอียิปต์จึงพูดกันว่า “ให้เราหนีไปจากคนอิสราเอลเถิด เพราะพระเจ้าทรงต่อสู้กับคนอียิปต์แทนเขา”

56 26Then the LORD said to Moses, “Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.” 26ขณะนั้นพระเจ้าตรัสกับโมเสสว่า “จงยื่นมือออกไปเหนือทะเล เพื่อให้น้ำทะเลไหลกลับคืนมาท่วมคนอียิปต์ ทั้งรถรบและพลม้าของเขา”

57 27So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the LORD threw the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.

58 27โมเสสจึงยื่นมือออกไปเหนือทะเล ครั้นรุ่งเช้า ทะเลก็กลับไหลดังเก่า คนอียิปต์พากันหนีกระแสน้ำ แต่พระเจ้าทรงสลัดคนอียิปต์ลงกลางทะเล

59 28The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained. 28น้ำก็ท่วมพลรถและพลม้า คือพลโยธาทั้งหมดของฟาโรห์ซึ่งไล่ตามเขาเข้าไปในทะเล ไม่เหลือสักคนเดียว

60 29But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left. 29ฝ่ายชนชาติอิสราเอลเดินไปตามดินแห้งกลางท้องทะเล น้ำตั้งขึ้นเหมือนกำแพงสำหรับเขาทั้งทางขวาและทางซ้าย

62 31Israel saw the great power that the LORD used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.

63 31อิสราเอลเห็นกิจการใหญ่ ซึ่งพระเจ้าได้ทรงกระทำแก่คนอียิปต์ ประชากรก็เกรงกลัวพระเจ้า เขาทั้งหลายเชื่อถือพระเจ้าและ เชื่อโมเสสผู้รับใช้ของพระองค์ด้วย

64 13But they soon forgot His works; they did not wait for His counsel

65 14But they had a wanton craving in the wilderness, and put God to the test in the desert; 14แต่ในถิ่นทุรกันดารนั้นท่านมีความอยากอย่างรุนแรง และได้ทดลองพระเจ้าในที่แห้งแล้ง

66 15He gave them what they asked, but sent a wasting disease among them

67 16When men in the camp were jealous of Moses and Aaron, the holy one of the LORD, 16เมื่อคนในค่ายริษยาโมเสส และอาโรน คนบริสุทธิ์ของพระเจ้า

68 17the earth opened and swallowed up Dathan, and covered the company of Abiram. 17พื้นแผ่นดินอ้าปากกลืนดาธาน และทับคณะอาบีรามเสีย

69 18Fire also broke out in their company; the flame burned up the wicked

70 19They made a calf in Horeb and worshiped a metal image

71 20They exchanged the glory of God for the image of an ox that eats grass. 20ท่านเอาพระสิริของพระเจ้าแลกกับ รูปของวัวที่กินหญ้า

72 21They forgot God, their Savior, who had done great things in Egypt, 21ท่านลืมพระเจ้า พระผู้ช่วยของท่าน ผู้ได้ทรงกระทำพระราชกิจใหญ่โตในอียิปต์

73 22wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea

74 23Therefore He said He would destroy them—had not Moses, His chosen one, stood in the breach before Him, to turn away His wrath from destroying them.

93 24Then they despised the pleasant land, having no faith in His promise

94 25They murmured in their tents, and did not obey the voice of the LORD

95 26Therefore He raised His hand and swore to them that He would make them fall in the wilderness, 26เพราะฉะนั้น พระองค์ทรงยกพระหัตถ์ ของพระองค์ปฏิญาณต่อท่าน ว่าจะทำให้ท่านล้มตายในถิ่นทุรกันดาร

97 28Then they yoked themselves to the Baal of Peor, and ate sacrifices offered to the dead; 28แล้วท่านก็ไปติดพันอยู่กับบาอัลแห่งเมืองเพโอร์ และรับประทานเครื่องสัตวบูชา ที่บูชาพระตาย

98 29they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them. 29ท่านยั่วเย้าพระองค์ให้ทรงกริ้วด้วยการกระทำของท่าน และโรคระบาดเกิดขึ้นท่ามกลางท่าน

99 30Then Phinehas stood up and intervened, and the plague was stayed

100 31And that was counted to him as righteousness from generation to generation forever. 31ที่เขาทำนั้นพระองค์ทรงนับว่าเป็นความชอบธรรมแก่เขา ตลอดทุกชั่วชาติพันธุ์สืบต่อไป เป็นนิตย์

101 32They angered Him at the waters of Meribah, and it went ill with Moses on their account, 32ท่านทำให้พระองค์กริ้วที่น้ำเมรีบาห์ เพราะเรื่องของท่านนี้ โมเสสก็พลอยเสียหายด้วย

102 33for they made his spirit bitter, and he spoke rashly with his lips

103 34They did not destroy the peoples, as the LORD commanded them, 34ท่านมิได้ทำลายชนชาติทั้งหลาย ตามที่พระเจ้าทรงบัญชาท่านไว้

104 35but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did

105 36They served their idols, which became a snare to them

106 37They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; 37ท่านฆ่าบุตรชายและบุตรหญิงของท่าน ถวายเป็นเครื่องสักการบูชาแก่ปีศาจ

107 38they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

108 38ท่านเทโลหิตผู้ไร้ผิดออกมา คือโลหิตบุตรชายบุตรหญิงของท่าน ผู้ซึ่งท่านได้ฆ่าเป็นเครื่องสักการบูชาแก่ รูปเคารพแห่งคานาอัน แผ่นดินก็มลทินไปด้วยโลหิต

109 39Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds. 39ท่านจึงเป็นคนไม่สะอาดด้วยการกระทำของท่าน และประพฤติเยี่ยงโสเภณีในการกระทำของท่าน

110 40Then the anger of the LORD was kindled against His people, and He abhorred His heritage; 40แล้วความกริ้วของพระเจ้า ก็พลุ่งขึ้นต่อ ประชากรของพระองค์ และพระองค์ทรงรังเกียจมรดกของพระองค์

111 41He gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them. 41พระองค์ทรงมอบท่านไว้ในมือประชาชาติต่างๆ บรรดาผู้ที่เกลียดท่านจึงปกครองเหนือท่าน

112 42Their enemies oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their power. 42ศัตรูของท่านได้บีบบังคับท่าน และท่านตกไปอยู่ใต้อำนาจของเขา

113 43Many times He delivered them, but they were rebellious in their purposes and were brought low through their iniquity. 43พระองค์ทรงช่วยกู้ท่านหลายครั้ง แต่ท่านมักกบฏในจุดประสงค์ของท่าน และถูกเหยียดลงด้วยความบาปผิดของท่าน

114 44Nevertheless, He looked upon their distress, when He heard their cry

115 45For their sake He remembered His covenant, and relented according to the abundance of His steadfast love. 45เพื่อเห็นแก่ท่าน พระองค์ทรงระลึกถึงพันธสัญญาของพระองค์ และกลับทรงกรุณาตามความรักมั่นคงอันอุดมของพระองค์

116 46He caused them to be pitied by all those who held them captive

117 47Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise.

118 47ข้าแต่พระเจ้าของข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย ขอทรงช่วยข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายให้รอด และขอทรงรวบรวมข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลาย จากท่ามกลางประชาชาติต่างๆ เพื่อข้าพระองค์ทั้งหลายจะโมทนา ขอบพระคุณพระนามบริสุทธิ์ของพระองค์ และเริงโลดในการสรรเสริญพระองค์

119 48Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting! And let all the people say, “Amen!” Praise the LORD! 48จงถวายสาธุการแด่พระเยโฮวาห์พระเจ้าของอิสราเอล แต่นิรันดร์กาลจนถึงนิรันดร์กาล และขอประชาชนทั้งปวงกล่าวว่า “อาเมน” จงสรรเสริญพระเจ้าเถิด
