14เหตุฉะนี้ เจ้าทั้งหลายจงรักษาวันสะบาโตไว้ เพราะเป็นวันบริสุทธิ์สำหรับเจ้า ผู้ใดกระทำให้วันนั้นเป็นมลทินจะต้องถูกลงโทษถึงตาย ถ้าผู้ใดทำการงานในวันนั้น ผู้นั้นต้องถูกกำจัดออกเสียจากพรรคพวกของตน

15 Six days shall work be done, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, holy to the LORD. Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day shall be put to death.

15จงทำงานแต่ในกำหนดหกวัน แต่ในวันที่เจ็ดเป็นวันสะบาโต เป็นวันหยุดพักสงบ เป็นวันบริสุทธิ์แด่พระเจ้า ผู้ใดทำงานในวันนั้นต้องถูกลงโทษถึง ตาย

16 Therefore the people of Israel shall keep the Sabbath, observing the Sabbath throughout their generations, as a covenant forever. 16เหตุฉะนี้ ชนชาติอิสราเอลจึงถือวันสะบาโตตลอดชั่วชาติพันธุ์ของ เขาเป็นพันธสัญญาเนืองนิตย์

17 It is a sign forever between Me and the people of Israel that in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day He rested and was refreshed.’”
