Job Interview Why are interviews used? Has anybody been interviewed? If yes, share your experiences.
New Language: Listen and repeat (page 62) Work in pairs. A, read aloud the sentence in each bubble. B, read aloud the sentence under each picture. Then take turn.
Work in groups of three (A, B, and C). Instructions: Think of questions people are usually asked while being interviewed. Write down 5-8 questions on a piece of paper. A, you are an interviewer. Ask B each question. B, you are an interviewee. Answer the questions. C, report what A asked.
She had worked in customer service and had had a job at a bank. Some of the classes had clashed with the work hours. It was related to what she was studying in school. She got along well with her fellow workers. She thought it was her adaptability. Job experience was very important to her.

Reported Questions: I asked the teacher what her nickname was. I asked the teacher how old she/he was. I asked the teacher where she/he lived. I asked the teacher if she/he was hungry. I asked the teacher if she/he liked English.
