5 Essential Documents for Application
Application for accommodation and payment of deposit : Depending on the host university, you may be required to pay a deposit in advance through bank transfer or credit card. Financial statement indicating amount of  savings in English : A financial statement may be necessary for some host universities or for processing visas. Health Certificate in English : Depends on host university

6 Once you have been nominated, you can only cancel your exchange semester in exceptional cases such as serious illness. Please contact P' Nutt for EBA and P' Deer for BEcon, immediately in such cases!!! Proof of exceptional case is required.

8 Preparation for Departure
Buy Insurance : All students in study abroad programs are required to purchase overseas travel insurance plan (e.g. Bupa, AIG, AON Student Insurance) Health Exam : Vaccination (if any) Research on the country where you would like to study : local information regarding hygiene, medical treatments available, the social environment, the national character, and the local law

9 Visa Application You will need a student visa to stay. Depending on the country, different visa application procedures apply, which require different documents. Once you are admitted to a host university, consult with the local embassy to find out the latest information on visa acquisition for that country.

10 Awaiting visa approval
Depending on the country, the visa approval process may take anywhere from 3 weeks to over 3 months. In addition, depending on the student’s nationality, travel history, and background, the approval process may take additional time. In the previous years, there were students who did not get their visa approvals on time and, therefore, they could not arrive at their host university on time. Please understand that EBA/OIA cannot answer questions regarding the visa process. Apply AS EARLY AS Possible!

Visa Application Special case Netherlands : Apply through the host university. Germany : Need to open “block account” with Deutsche Bank in Germany before applying for a visa. Checklist for opening “block account” for foreign students : Carefully complete the forms. The devil is in the detail! Netherland : send all docs to host uni so carefully check all documents (IELTS/TOEFL need for visa) Germany : must to send document to open a bank account with Deutsch bank in Germany Print แบบฟอร์มจากเว็บไซต์ธนาคาร Deutsche Bank และกรอกข้อมูลว่าจะโอนเงินไปเท่าไหร่ ต้องระบุว่าเราจะตั้งลิมิตให้ตัวเองใช้เท่าไหร่ต่อเดือน  (ขั้นต่ำค่ะ 670 Euro) ก็ต้องโอนไป 3350 ยูโรเพราะอยู่ 5 เดือน แต่ถ้าโอนไปที่เกินไปก็ถอนมาใช้ไม่ได้ แต่ละเดือนก็จะใช้ได้แค่ 670 แต่ถ้าเดือนไหนใช้ไม่ถึงเงินก็จะไปอยู่ในลิมิตเดือนหน้าค่ะ พอจะปิดบัญชีก็จะถอนเงินออกมาหมดได้เลย ระยะเวลาการเปิด: ส่งเอกสารที่กรอกไปหา Deutsche Bank ตามที่อยู่ในเวปไซต์ผ่าน DHL หลังจากที่เขาได้รับเขาใช้เวลาประมาณ 2 อาทิตย์ (รวมเสาร์อาทิตย์) แล้วจะส่ง หาเราให้โอนเงิน พอโอนเงินเสร็จ อีกประมาณ 1 อาทิตย์ เขาก็ตอบกลับมาว่าเปิด blocked account เรียบร้อยแล้ว  การยื่นขอวีซ่าใช้เวลา 3 อาทิตย์วันทำการ หรือ 1 เดือนเต็มๆค่ะ แต่วันที่ไปขอเขาจะระบุเลยว่ามารับได้วันไหน ไม่จำเป็นต้องฝากพาสปอร์ตไว้กับเขา ถ้าเขามีปัญหาอะไรหรือวีซ่าเสร็จเร็วกว่ากำหนดเขาจะโทรแจ้งค่ะ พอถึงเยอรมันก็ต้องดำเนินเรื่อง unblock "blocked account" เพื่อใช้งาน ทางธนาคารใช้เวลา 2 วันเพื่อเปิดบัญชี แต่บัตร atm จะได้ 2 อาทิตย์หลังจากนั้น ด้านล่านคือลิงค์ไปหาแบบฟอร์มที่ต้องกรอก:

Please contact your parents as soon as you arrive at your destination. Give your contact number to your parents both mobile phone and accommodation phone number. Enroll in courses and study hard. Stay healthy and safe. Make the most of your study abroad experience Adhere to host university regulations and local laws.

In case of Emergency Terrorism related incidents Check the local television, newspapers for the latest information. Stay away from areas where terrorist attacks happened. Contact your family and the EBA Contact the nearest embassy or consulate, local police, host university and follow their directions.

16 Credits and Grade Transfer
- Courses taken at the host institution must be equivalent to EBA elective courses - Courses taken at the host institution must be approved by the Office of the Registrar, ideally prior to the exchange period  course equivalency to be established - Not more than a total of 18 EBA credits may be transferred from host institutions - Exchange students must inform the EBA office without delay by , should they have to change their course selection

17 Credits and Grade Transfer (cont.)
- Grades earned at the host institution will not be included in the calculation of the GPAX (grades assigned: S or U) - Grades earned at the host institution will be converted and count towards EBA tracks - After having studied at the host institution, students must complete at least one regular term at the home institution prior to graduation

View grade conversion EBA office New partners Send official information about grading system of host university to P’Nutt: Students must enroll no less than 2 EBA courses and no more than 6 EBA courses. Of the total actual registered course, more than half must be transferred back to EBA i.e. 3 out of 4 registered courses, 3 out of 5 registered. Students who do not meet these criteria will be given “Unsatisfied (U)”, which will result in them not receiving honors.
