จุดประสงค์ของ บทเรียน 1. นักเรียนมีความรู้พื้นฐานภาษาอังกฤษ เบื้องต้นในการพูดทักทาย การกล่าวลา การกล่าวขอบคุณ และการ ตอบรับการกล่าวขอบคุณ 2. นักเรียนมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเรื่องชนิดของ คำ 3. เขียนคำนามเอกพจน์พหูพจน์ง่าย ๆ ได้ 4. นักเรียนแต่งประโยคภาษาอังกฤษง่าย ๆ ได้ 5. นักเรียนแนะนำตนเองเบื้องต้นได้ 6. นักเรียนมีทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการเรียน ภาษาอังกฤษ

Part of speech ส่วนแห่งคำพูดหรือ ชนิดของคำพูด Part of speech แบ่งออกเป็น 8 ชนิด 1.Noun = คำนาม 2.Pronoun = สรรพนาม 3.Verb = กริยา 4.Adverb = คำวิเศษณ์ ( หรือ กริยาวิเศษณ์ ) 5.Adjective = คำคุณศัพท์ 6.Preposition = บุรพบท 7.Conjunction = สันธาน 8.Interjection = อุทาน

Noun = นาม แปลว่า “ ชื่อ ” ได้แก่ ” คำที่เราใช้เรียกชื่อคน, สัตว์, สิ่งของ, สถานที่, คุณสมบัติหรือคุณค่าต่าง ๆ เช่น คน : Pancake, Dan, Bie สัตว์ : cat, monkey, bird, dog สิ่งของ : desk, chair, car, bike, computer สถานที่ : office, school, hotel, house คุณสมบัติหรือคุณค่า : truth, goodness

Pronoun = สรรพนาม หมายถึง “ คำที่ใช้แทน noun หรือพูดง่าย ๆ ก็คือใช้แทนชื่อ คน, สัตว์, สิ่งของ, สถานที่ หรือคุณค่าต่าง ๆ ตามที่กล่าวมาแล้วนั้น ทั้งนี้เพื่อต้องการมิให้พูดหรือเอ่ยถึงชื่อคน, สัตว์, ฯลฯ เป็นต้น นั้นซ้ำ ๆ ซาก ๆ อันจะเป็นเหตุทำให้การฟัง ไม่ไพเราะ ” Pronoun ได้แก่คำเหล่านี้ I, We, He, She, It, They, Who, These, Each, one เป็นต้น

Verb = กริยาหมายถึง “ คำหรือกลุ่มคำที่เป็นการ แสดงออกของประธาน หรือแสดงภาวะของประธาน ได้แก่ is, have, do, read, wash, will have been seen For example. She is reading now. หล่อนกำลังอ่านหนังสือขณะนี้

adverb = กริยาวิเศษณ์ หมายถึง คำที่ไปทำหน้าที่ขยาย verb, ขยาย adjective, และ ขยาย adverb ด้วยกันเองก็ได้ เพื่อให้เนื้อความของประโยคนั้น ๆ ชัดเจนยิ่งขึ้น ได้แก่ well( ดี ), slowly( อย่างช้า ) hard, ( ลำบาก, หนัก ), soon ( ในไม่ช้า ) เป็นต้น For example: She walked slowly to that dog. หล่อนเดินอย่างช้า ๆ ไปที่สุนัขตัวนั้น

adjective = แปลว่า คุณศัพท์ ได้แก่ “ คำหรือกลุ่มคำที่ช่วยทำให้ noun หรือ Pronoun มีความหมายมากขึ้นหรือชัดเจนขึ้น เช่น Tall boy ( เด็กผู้ชายตัวสูง ) expensive shirt ( เสื้อเชิ๊ตราคาเพง ) I want to have a beautiful girlfriend. ( ฉันต้องการมีแฟนสวย )

Preposition = คำบุรพบท หมายถึง คำที่ใช้เชื่อม Noun และ Pronoun เข้ากับคำอื่น ๆ ที่อยู่ในประโยค ทั้งนี้เพื่อให้ใจความของประโยค กลมกลืนสละสลวยขึ้น ได้แก่ in, on, at, by from, toward into, etc. เช่น Jane is in the office. We are from England by plane. That boy is next to the tiger. The book is on the table.

Conjunction แปลว่า “ สันธาน ” คือ “ คำที่ใช้เชื่อมคำต่อคำ (words), วลี (phrases), หรือประโยค (clauses) ต่าง ๆ ให้เชื่อโยงซึ่งกันและกัน ” ได้แก่ and, or, but, nor, since, although, while เช่น He plays but I learn. ( เขาเล่นแต่ฉันเรียน ) Interjection แปลว่า “ อุทาน ” คือ “ คำที่เราพูดออกมาด้วยอารมณ์ หรือความรู้สึกต่าง ๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นมาจากจิตใจ ซึ่งจะอุทานออกมาเป็นคำเดียวก็ได้ หรือเป็นประโยคก็ได้ ” เช่น Ah! Nonsense! ( เหลวไหลน่า ) “What a sad thing it is! ( มันเป็นสิ่งที่น่าเศร้าใจแท้ ๆ )

Singular and plural ( อกพจน์ และ พหูพจน์ ) คำนามที่มีเพียงสิ่งเดียวเรียกนามเอกพจน์ เช่น Cat หรือ a cat, sister หรือ a sister เป็นต้น คำนามที่สามารถนับได้เป็น 1, 2, 3.... เรียก นามพหูพจน์ เช่น A cat เป็น cats, หรือ 3 cats ก็ได้ A sister เป็น 2 sisters A sandwich เป็น 5 sandwiches เป็นต้น Note: การทำนามเอกพจน์เป็นพหูพจน์ทำได้โดยการเติม s หรือ es เข้าท้ายคำนามนับได้ หรือเปลี่ยนรูปไปเลย เช่น man เป็น men
