การสอบวัดความรู้และทักษะด้านการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ ของบุคลากรสังกัดสำนักงานสาธารณสุข จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ เพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาเลื่อนระดับตำแหน่งที่สูงขึ้น และเลื่อนขั้นเงินเดือน ตามพระราชบัญญัติระเบียบข้าราชการพลเรือน พ.ศ (ฉบับใหม่) โดย สถาบันภาษา มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่

2 มาตรฐานระดับความรู้ ทักษะ และประสบการณ์ที่จำเป็นในงาน ทางด้านทักษะในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษ
ระดับ สามารถพูด อ่าน เขียน ฟังภาษาอังกฤษได้ในระดับเบื้องต้น และสื่อสารให้เข้าใจได้ ระดับ สามารถพูด อ่าน เขียน ฟังทำความเข้าใจเนื้อหาสาระสำคัญต่างๆได้ ระดับ มีทักษะระดับที่ 2 ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการติดต่อ สัมพันธ์ในการปฏิบัติงานได้อย่าง ถูกหลักไวยากรณ์ ระดับ มีทักษะระดับที่ 3 และเข้าใจสำนวนภาษาอังกฤษในรูปแบบต่าง ๆ สามารถ ประยุกต์ใช้งานได้อย่างถูกต้องตามหลักไวยากรณ์และความเหมาะสมในเชิงเนื้อหา ระดับ มีความเชี่ยวชาญในการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษอย่างลึกซึ้งใกล้เคียงกับเจ้าของภาษา สามารถประยุกต์ใช้โวหารทุกรูปแบบได้อย่างคล่องแคล่วและสละสลวยถูกต้อง และอีกทั้งมีความเชี่ยวชาญศัพท์เฉพาะด้านในสาขาวิชาของตนอย่างลึกซึ้ง

3 ข้อสอบมี 2 ชุด ชุดที่ 1 : ข้อสอบสำหรับผู้สอบวัดระดับความรู้และทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับที่ 2 (สามารถพูด อ่าน เขียน ฟังทำความเข้าใจเนื้อหาสาระสำคัญต่างๆได้) ชุดที่ 2 : ข้อสอบสำหรับผู้สอบวัดระดับความรู้และทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ ระดับที่ 3 (มีทักษะระดับที่ 2 ใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในการติดต่อ สัมพันธ์ในการปฏิบัติ งานได้อย่างถูกหลักไวยากรณ์)

4 ตอนที่ 1 : Grammar & Structure
ข้อสอบแต่ละชุดมี 4 ตอน ตอนที่ 1 : Grammar & Structure (Context ที่นำมาวัด Grammar & Structure เป็นเรื่องเกี่ยว กับชีวิตการทำงานในสายวิทยาศาสตร์สุขภาพ การบริหารจัดการ งานสำนักงานและชีวิตประจำวันทั่วไป)

5 ตอนที่ 2 : Vocabulary & Reading Comprehension
ข้อสอบแต่ละชุดมี 4 ตอน ตอนที่ 2 : Vocabulary & Reading Comprehension (60 % ของวงศัพท์และข้อความสำหรับอ่านเป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับโรค ที่ สสจ. กำลังดำเนินงานในปีนี้ เช่น ไข้หวัดนก วัณโรค คางทูม ไข้เลือกออกอีก 40 % เป็นเรื่องทั่วไป)

6 ตอนที่ 3 : Written Expression
ข้อสอบแต่ละชุดมี 4 ตอน ตอนที่ 3 : Written Expression (60 % ของ Context เป็นเรื่องเกี่ยวกับโรคที่ สสจ. กำลังดำเนินงาน ในปีนี้ เช่น ไข้หวัดนก วรรณโรค คางทูม ไข้เลือกออก อีก 40 % เป็นเรื่องทั่วไป)

7 ข้อสอบแต่ละชุดมี 4 ตอน ตอนที่ 4 : Conversation
(เป็นบทสนทนาเกี่ยวกับการติดต่อประสานงานในสำนักงาน การให้บริการ การบริหารจัดการ การติดต่อประสานงาน และในชีวิตประจำวันทั่วไป)

8 ลักษณะข้อสอบ ข้อสอบแต่ละระดับ แบ่งเป็น ชุดคำถาม และ ชุดกระดาษคำตอบ
ข้อสอบแต่ละระดับ แบ่งเป็น ชุดคำถาม และ ชุดกระดาษคำตอบ ข้อสอบแต่ละตอน ออกแบบปรนัย 5 ตัวเลือก ให้ผู้สอบทำข้อสอบ (เลือกคำตอบและทำเครื่องหมาย) ลงใน กระดาษคำตอบเท่านั้น และส่งกรรมการสอบพร้อมคืนข้อสอบ ชุดคำถามด้วย เวลาในการทำข้อสอบแต่ละชุด ใช้เวลาสอบ 1 ชั่วโมง 30 นาที

9 GRAMMAR & STRUCTURE (15 points : 1 point each)
TEST 1 GRAMMAR & STRUCTURE (15 points : 1 point each) This test is designed to measure how well you understand and recognize English that is appropriate for standard structure and grammar. There are two parts on this test, with different directions for each part. PART A (10 Points: 1 point each)  Directions: The given sentences 1-15 are incomplete. Five choices of words or phrases, marked A, B, C, D and E, are given beneath each sentence. You are to choose only one word or phrase that best completes the sentence. Then, find the number of the sentence on your answer sheet, and mark  that corresponds to the letter of the answer you have chosen. Example  1. Bird Flu viruses________________ birds, including chickens, other poultry and wild birds such as ducks. A. is infecting B. are infecting C. infect D. infects E. infected

10 PART B: (5 points: 1 point each)
Directions: The given sentences each one has five words or phrases underlined. The five underlined parts of the sentence are marked A, B, C, D and E. You are to identify the underline word or phrase that should be corrected or rewritten. Then, on your answer sheet, find the number of the question and mark  that corresponds to the answer you have chosen. Example  1. 11 VOCABULARIES & READING COMPREHENSION
TEST 2 VOCABULARIES & READING COMPREHENSION (15 points: 1 point each) This test is designed to measure your ability to understand the given messages which are appropriate for standard written English. There are three parts on this test, with different directions for each part. PART A (8 Points: 1 point each)  Directions: In this part you will read two incomplete passages. Each one is followed by a number of words about it. For items 16 – 19, you are to choose the one best answer, A, B, C, D and E to each item to complete the text. On your answer sheet, find the number of the item and mark  that corresponds to the letter of the answer you have chosen.

Directions: The given conversations 1- 3 are incomplete. Five choices of words or phrases or sentences, marked A, B, C, D and E, are given to each item. You are to choose only one phrase or sentence that best completes the conversation. Then, find the number of the phrase or sentence on your answer sheet, and mark  that corresponds to the letter of the answer you have chosen.
