3 น้ำยาย้อมผม (Hair Colorants)
แบ่งออกเป็น 2 กลุ่มใหญ่ ได้แก่ การย้อมผมถาวร (permanent colorings) การย้อมผมชั่วคราว (temporary colorings)

4 Permanent Colorings ได้แก่น้ำยาย้อมผม ติดคงทน
ชำระล้างออกไม่ได้ด้วยน้ำหรือแชมพู ส่วนประกอบสำคัญ amino dyes เหมาะกับคนไทยและเอเชียที่มีผมดำ Phenylenediamine เมื่อย้อมจะให้สีดำสนิทและเงางาม p-phenylenediamine ได้รับความนิยมสูงสุดในการย้อมผมดำ Silver nitrate, pyrogallol ให้สีดำแต่ด้าน ขาดความประกาย Phenylenediamine และสารประกอบ amino dyes จะมีสีได้ต้องได้รับออกซิเจนจึงเรียกสารประกอบ amino dyes ว่า Oxidation dyes

5 Temporary Colorings Temporary Colorings คือ กลุ่มเครื่องสำอางในรูปแบบต่างๆที่ทำให้เส้นผมเปลี่ยนสีได้แต่ไม่ติดคงทนถาวร ชำระล้างออกได้ง่าย ได้แก่เครื่องสำอางชนิด Color rinses หรือ Tint rinses เป็นการเคลือบสีผมโดยใช้ water soluble dyes เหมาะกับชาวยุโรปเพราะมีผมสีอ่อน สีที่อนุญาตให้ใช้ในอเมริกามีประมาณ 23 สี เช่น สีแดง สีเขียว น้ำเงิน ม่วง เหลือง ซึ่งไม่เหมาะกับสีผมคนไทยและชาวเอเชีย

7 น้ำยาย้อมผม จะเป็น solution 2 ขวด
ตัวยาย้อม + oxidizer (hydrogen peroxide) การใช้ : ผสมน้ำยาทั้ง 2 ชนิดเข้าด้วยกัน ทาบนเส้นผมที่สระล้างสะอาดให้ทั่ว ล้างสีย้อมส่วนเกินออก น้ำยาจะติดนานจนกว่าผมใหม่จะยาวงอกออกมา

Ingredients ปริมาณ p-phenylenediamine 3 gm. Sodium sulfite 2 gm. Ammonia water ml. Distilled water qs. To 100

9 การย้อมผม ขั้นตอนวิธีการย้อมผมด้วย Palty
1.หลังสระผม (ไม่ต้องใช้ครีมนวด) เป่าผมให้แห้ง 2.ผสมน้ำยาโดยนำหลอดสีมาบีบตัวน้ำยาลงในขวดใหญ่ที่มีมาในกล่อง จากนั้นคว่ำไปมาให้สีและน้ำยาผสมเข้ากัน อย่าเขย่า 3.เปลี่ยนฝาที่เป็นแบบหวี เริ่มทำการย้อมโดยแบ่งผมเป็นช่อเล็กๆ เพื่อสีจะได้สม่ำเสมอกัน จากนั้นบีบน้ำยาแล้วใช้แปรงที่ติดกับขวดเริ่มหวีจากกลางผมลงไปปลายผมให้ทั่วก่อน แล้วจึงค่อยกลับมาที่หวีโคนผมลงมากลางผม 4.ทิ้งไว้ประมาณ นาที จากนั้นนำน้ำยาที่เหลือมาขยี้และนวดให้ทั่วศรีษะอีกครั้งอย่างเบามือ ล้างออกด้วยน้ำสะอาดแล้วตามด้วย Treatment After Color ที่เป็นซอง ทิ้งไว้ประมาณ 3-5นาที เพื่อให้ผมนุ่มสลวยและไม่แห้งเสีย จากนั้นล้างออกด้วยน้ำสะอาด **ความชัดของสีที่ได้ จะขึ้นอยู่กับพื้นสีผมเดิมด้วย**

11 Nail Lacquer เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่มีมากที่สุดและสำคัญที่สุดในกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์สำหรับเล็บ ชื่อเรียก Nail Vanish หรือ Nail Lacquer หรือ น้ำยาทาเล็บ

12 คุณสมบัติของน้ำยาทาเล็บที่ดี
ไม่เป็นอันตรายต่อผิวหนังและเล็บ เตรียมในลักษณะที่ใช้ง่ายและสะดวก มีความคงทนหลังจากเก็บไว้นานๆ กระจายตัวสม่ำเสมอ ไม่แยกชั้น ตกตะกอน สี ปฏิกิริยา ส่วนประกอบต่างๆ ไม่เปลี่ยนแปลง เมื่อทาแล้วได้ฟิล์มบนเล็บที่มีคุณสมบัติที่ดี ได้แก่ ฟิล์มมีความหนาสม่ำเสมอ (ความหนืดดีไม่หนาหรือบางไป wetting ดี คุณสมบัติการไหลดี) สีสม่ำเสมอ (ใช้ผง Pigment ที่ละเอียดมาก ใช้ medium ที่เหมาะสมในการเตรียมสี) วาว เงางามดี (ขึ้นอยู่กับคุณสมบัติที่ดีของ medium ที่ใช้) มีคุณสมบัติติดเล็บที่ดี ฟิล์มเหนียวยืดหยุ่นพอสมควร ไม่เปราะและแตกง่าย ฟิล์มแข็งไม่มีผิวขรุขระ ทนต่อการขูดขีด แห้งเร็ว ใช้เวลา 1-2 นาที ต้องคงคุณสมบัติทั้งหมดประมาณ 1 สัปดาห์

14 Nail Enamels Nitrocellulose Solvent, like toluene
Pigments: minerals or organic lakes Plasticizer like DEP, camphor Resin for film strength and flexibility: Toluene Sulfonamide Formaldehyde, Polyester… DEP=Diethyl Phthalate is a plasticizer largely used in the manufacture perfumery compounds, agarbatti (incense sticks) and as a fixative in the manufacture of perfumes, attars, etc., DiEthyl phthalate plasticizer is also used in the processing of Cellulose Acetates. DEP is also used as a denaturant for Ethyl Alcohol. CAS No Properties Diethyl phthalate plasticizer is a colourless and odourless liquid. It is soluble in most of organic solvents. DiEthyl Phthalate (DEP) is insoluble in white/paraffin hydrocarbon oils. It is insoluble in water.
