24 สรุป กระดูกสันหลังเสื่อมเกิดขึ้นเสมอถ้ามีอายุยาวนานพอ แต่มีบางคนเท่านั้นที่เกิดอาการ ผลจากกระดูกสันหลังเสื่อมอาจทำให้เกิดอาการปวด ไขสันหลังและรากประสาททำงานผิดปกติ กระดูกสันหลังไม่มั่นคง กระดูกสันหลังผิดรูป วิธีการรักษาขึ้นกับอาการของผู้ป่วย (รักษาอาการปวด คลายการกดเบียดรากประสาท ไขสันหลัง ทำให้กระดูกสันหลังมั่นคงและจัดแนวกระดูกให้ดีขึ้น)
