35 Atrophic rhinitis เกรด 0 : ปกติ turbinate เต็มช่องจมูก septum สมมาตรและตั้งตรง เกรด 1 : กายวิภาคเบี่ยงไปจากปกติ เล็กน้อย ไม่พบ atrophy เกรด 2 : การเกิด atrophy เล็กน้อยจน รุนแรง มีช่องว่างเกิดขึ้น 6 มม. ในเฉพาะ ช่วงล่าง เกิด degeneration ใน scroll มีกี่เบี่ยงของ septum เล็กน้อย

36 เกรด 3 : การเปลี่ยนแปลงปานกลาง septum มีการเบี่ยงไปในระดับปาน กลาง มีช่องว่าง 7 มม. เกิด degeneration ที่ ventral scroll ระดับ ปานกลาง เกรด 4 : การเปลี่ยนแปลงระดับปาน กลางถึงรุนแรง มีการเบี่ยงของ septum ระหว่างปานกลาง มีช่องว่าง >8 มม. ventral scroll หายไปข้าง หนึ่ง เกิด degeneration ระดับปาน กลางจนรุนแรง มี fibrous แทรก ventral scroll เกรด 5 : การเปลี่ยนแปลงรุนแรง มี การสูญเสีย ventral turbinate ทั้ง 2 ข้าง มีการ degenerate ของ dorsal turbinate septum เบี่ยงรุนแรงหรือ อาจยังตรงอยู่
