เป้าหมาย ปี 2548 ปี 2550 เพิ่มอัตราความสำเร็จของการรักษาวัณโรค (Success rate) ร้อยละ 40.8 ร้อยละ 50 ลดอัตราการตายจากวัณโรค (Death rate) ร้อยละ 17.2 ร้อยละ 15 ลดอัตราการขาดยาวัณโรค (Default rate) ร้อยละ 13.7 ร้อยละ 10.0

13 ผลที่คาดว่าจะได้รับ ผู้ป่วยวัณโรคได้รับการรักษาดูแลอย่างมีมาตรฐาน รวมถึงการตรวจการติดเชื้อเอชไอวีร่วม ครอบครัวและผู้ใกล้ชิดผู้ป่วยสามารถให้การดูแลผู้ป่วยHIV/AIDS ที่เป็นวัณโรคที่บ้านได้อย่างเหมาะสม สามารถทราบผล HIV serology ของคู่สามีภรรยาของผู้ป่วย เพื่อใช้วางแผนในการให้คำแนะนำเรื่อง safe sex และเรื่องยาต้านไวรัสได้ในเวลาที่เหมาะสมก่อนเกิดโรคติดเชื้อฉวยโอกาส สถาบันบำราศนราดูรได้รูปแบบการดำเนินงานป้องกันควบคุม วัณโรคที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ซึ่งรวมถึงการคัดกรองผู้ป่วยวัณโรคเชิงรุก ในกลุ่มเสี่ยงต่าง ๆ

26 ขอความร่วมมือเพื่อ การควบคุมวัณโรคในสถาบันบำราศนราดูร
1. ผู้ป่วยวัณโรคทุกรายที่วินิจฉัยและรับการรักษาที่สถาบันบำราศนราดูรต้องส่งลงทะเบียนวัณโรคที่คลินิคโรคระบบการหายใจ (ตึก 6/1) โทร ในเวลาราชการทุกวัน เพื่อติดตามการรักษาผู้ป่วยอย่างต่อเนื่อง 2. ผู้ป่วยวัณโรคที่ยังตรวจเสมหะพบเชื้อวัณโรคหรืออยู่ระหว่างการรักษาวัณโรคในช่วง 2 เดือนแรก ควรนัดตรวจใน TB clinic เพื่อลดการแพร่กระจายเชื้อวัณโรคในโรงพยาบาล

32 โครงการวิจัยต่างๆ 1.โครงการ การศึกษาสุ่มแบบเปิดเพื่อศึกษาประสิทธิผล ความปลอดภัย และความทนทานต่อยาต้านไวรัสเอดส์ที่มีเนวิราปีนร่วมด้วยโดยเปรียบเทียบเนวิราปีนขนาด 400มก.ต่อวันกับเนวิราปีนขนาด 600 มก. ต่อวันในผู้ป่วยติดเชื้อเอชไอวีที่เป็นวัณโรคด้วยโดยเริ่มยาต้านไวรัสเอดส์ ที่ 2-6 สัปดาห์หลังจากได้ยาวัณโรคที่มีไรแฟมปินร่วมด้วย 2. โครงการ การศึกษาผู้ป่วยวัณโรคที่ติดเชื้อ เอชไอวีร่วมด้วยในประเทศไทยโดยวิธีสังเกตการณ์ ( BIR TUC TB) 3. โครงการ การประเมินการตอบสนองทางภูมิคุ้มกันต่อเปปไทด์ของโปรตีนซีเอฟพีเท็น ( CFP )ของเชื้อวัณโรคในการช่วยวินิจฉัยการติดเชื้อวัณโรคและระยะของโรค 1.
