Parallax barrier A parallax barrier is a device to allow a liquid crystal display to show a stereoscopic image without the need for the viewer to wear 3D glasses.
Barrier model The barrier model is entirely defined by the following five real-valued parameters. 1. Barrier period or line spacing in lines per foot (lpf) 2. Angular orientation (line tilt) in degrees from vertical 3. Duty cycle (fraction of opaque to total period) 4. Lateral shift (left-right) along the plane of the display 5. screen from some reference point 6. Optical distance that the barrier is located in front of 7. the rear display screen
